FAQs
1. What is the difference between a painted chrome delete and a vinyl wrap chrome delete?
Allows a much more professional finish which is smooth and without defects
Is a permanent finish
Is easier to maintain
Parts are removed off the car to be painted, allowing full coverage of the chrome trims
Will resemble factory parts (you won’t be able to tell our work has been done after you purchased your car from the
dealership)
Our paints are UV resistant, so you will never have to worry about the chrome delete fading
Will cost more initially, but long term a far better option because of the durability
Vinyl wrap chrome delete:
The finish is average and you will see defects in the black from application
Is not permanent (essentially it’s a sticker over your chrome)
Is harder to maintain, edges of the vinyl wrap often lift with washing the car
Parts are not removed off the vehicle meaning chrome may not be completely covered
Will not resemble factory parts, because the chrome lies right next to your factory paint work you will clearly see the difference in quality between your factory paint and vinyl wrap
Is not UV resistant, and will fade over time
Will cost less initially, but long term will cost more because within a year the vinyl wrap will start to lift and peel
